Vail Resorts Extends Snow Season with Free Skiing/Riding in Argentina

The ski season is not over, especially if you are the owner of Vail Resorts' Epic Pass. The resort company reports that those who have bought or renewed an Epic Pass for 2010-2011 can continue their winter season below the Equator with free and unrestricted skiing /snowboarding at Las Lenas Resort in Argentina when staying at select hotel properties in Las Lenas. The Epic Season Pass already gives skiers and riders unlimited access at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly, as well as Arapahoe Basin.

The Epic Pass costs $599 per adult and $299 per child (ages five to 12). Prices on the Epic Pass are guaranteed through May 31, and purchasers can put $49 down now with the remainder due in mid-September. Visit

If you're looking for the least-costly way to trael to Las Lenas, Vail Resorts is giving away a trip for two to the area. To be eligible for this prize, you must buy or renew your Epic Pass before May 9. Prize includes roundtrip airfare, lodging and meals for two in Las Lenas during the 2010 winter season from June through October. Blackout dates may apply.

In order to receive free and unrestricted skiing at Las Lenas, skiers and riders must be a 2009-2010 Epic Pass holder or must buy or renew the Epic Pass for the 2010-2011 ski season and stay at the Piscis Hotel, Escorpio Hotel, Aries Hotel, Villa Capricornio, or Acuario Hotel locations in Las Lenas.

In addition to the free skiing offer at Las Lenas, Epic Pass and all Vail Resorts season pass purchasers will continue to receive exclusive offers on lodging, dining, ski rentals, equipment, ski school and special events for the 2010-2011 ski and snowboard season at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Arapahoe Basin. New this year, skiers and snowboarders who purchase their pass this spring will also receive special benefits for this summer 2010 including access for sightseeing and gondola rides. Formerly, summer benefits were granted for the summer following our ski seasons. All season pass products are non-transferable and non-refundable.
