Warm Weather Stalls Swiss Ski Season

Warm weather may postpone the start of ski season in Switzerland, according to the Associated Press.

Many Swiss ski resorts traditionally open on the first weekend of December, however mountain cams are showing images of mostly bare slopes.

Veronique Kanel, a spokeswoman for Swiss Tourism, said resorts are attempting to lure tourists with special deals, but she is worried about the effect on tourism if the slopes continue to be bare by mid-December.
