While much of the hotel buzz in Europe is focusing on the return of the Savoy, some exciting news is emerging from Slovakia. The Kempinski Hotel River Park, located on the banks of the Danube river in Bratislava, will open in June. Now that the River Park project has entered its final stage, the riverside of this Slovak capital is successfully being transformed into a luxury lifestyle hot spot.
Designed by award-winning Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat, the eight-story hotel has Superior, Deluxe, Executive Club, and Suite accommodations, crowned by a three-bedroom Presidential Suite with a large terrace whose wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows face onto Midtown and riverside. Many of the hotel's 231 guest rooms and suites have views of the Danube river and the city skyline.

Until August 31, guests of the Kempinski Hotel River Park Bratislava can take advantage of special soft opening rates of $240 for single and $268 for double occupancy per night including taxes and entry to the wellness, spa and fitness center.
