Travel Agent recently got a chance to meet with Nancy Blount, president, Blount Small Ship Adventures, and Silvia Görlach, marketing and sales manager, Eurail, near our New York offices.
Blount is offering new Signature sailings, a series of four itineraries that showcase the unique capabilities of Blount small ships. These include bow ramps and retractable pilothouses that allow the vessels to go where other small ships cannot. Additionally, the line is set to roll out Travel Agent Appreciation Month, which will have special offers for travel agents this November.
Eurail is unveiling a new brand strategy, which the company hopes will help expand beyond its traditional association with youth travel to reach out to families, couples and all types of travelers. Additionally, the company is offering new amenities and itineraries, including special premium services for travelers.
