Travel industry veteran Kathy Goldsmith has just been appointed by Star Clippers to head up the company’s business development in Canada.
In her new position, based out of Ontario, Goldsmith will be responsible for developing, maintaining, servicing and growing Star Clipper’s travel agent business in Canada. She will report directly to the vice president of sales for the Americas, Terri Haas, who is based out of Miami.
“Kathy brings with her extensive industry knowledge of the Canadian travel market. We know she will be a valuable asset to the Star Clippers sales team,” said Haas.
Before joining Star Clippers, Goldsmith most recently held a position as travel consultant with Travel Professional International based out of Winnipeg. She has nearly 15 years of experience in the travel industry, and has previously worked as a sales representative at Compagnie Du Ponant, and was director of sales, Canada, for Educational Travel Services.
