Tall ship sailing specialist Star Clippers has revised its spring and summer itineraries in the Mediterranean to offer more stops in Italy and Malta.
New calls include: the fishing village of Carloforte; the snorkeling paradise of Gozo; the photogenic town of Positano; the ancient city of Cagliari, capital of Sardinia; Sicily's most popular summer destination, Taormina; and the largest of the Aeolian Islands, Lipari. Rates for these itineraries start at $1,975 per person, cruise only for a nine-night itinerary.
Guests can choose from six itineraries with departures from Malaga and Civitavecchia (Port of Rome) with routes along Italy’s Amalfi Coast:
