Korean Air to Add A380s

This coming May, Korean Air will launch its first A380 service, devoting the entire upper deck of the aircraft to business class.

The business class seating, named the Prestige Class, will offer 94 lie-flat sleepers with 74 inches between seats. The aircraft will also have 12 first class seats and 301 economy seats. Ten planes in all have been ordered, with the first five to be delivered by the end of this year and the rest to arrive by 2014.

The fleet will serve short haul routes to Japan and East Asia in May, expanding to U.S. and Europe in August.
