Off the Radar Hot Spots in Korea

Looking for Korea's rising destinations? We've got the scoop right here.

First up is Namhae, the Treasure Island of Korea. Just five hours from Seoul lies Namhae, a small island with both mountains and seascapes. The community is here is predominantly agricultural and fishing and provides a little glimpse into what life in Korea was like half a century ago. The top draws here are Hilton Golf Namhae Resort, Daraengi Village, Geumsan Boriam Rock, Sangju Beach, Mijohang Port, Haeoreum Art Village and a German Village.

Next is Geojedo and its surrounding islands. Top tourist picks include Oedo Paradise Island, Haegeumgang (naturally formed rock sculptures and mountain-like rock islands in the ocean), 62 islands and almost 10 beach areas. Recommend Hakdong Pebble Beach, where small pebbles in a variety of colors dot the shore.

If your clients are visiting Geojedo Island, suggest the Tropical Dream Resort, a modern facility located in Hallyeohaesang National Marine Park. All rooms overlook the sea and have outdoor jacuzzis and indoor whirlpool bathtubs.
