Delta Nonstop Flights to Malaga Will Resume in June

Good news for travelers bound for Spain: Delta Air Lines has confirmed that its seasonal nonstop flight between Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and New York, JFK will resume on June 6 this year. The flight will initially operate four times weekly in June, and will increase to five times weekly in July in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.

Even better: Passengers flying into New York-JFK will get to check out Delta’s new JFK Terminal 4, part of a $1.4 billion project with new high-tech seating areas (think tables with iPads for ordering food and plugs for charging electronics).

Onboard, the flight from Malaga has 15 seats in BusinessElite, where passengers get a five course meal with wines chosen by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. Customers flying in Economy Comfort, Delta’s premium economy service, can get up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta’s standard international Economy class seats, as well as priority boarding.

Other product initiatives being rolled out across Delta’s international fleet include the expansion of Wi-Fi service by the end of 2015, including on flights between Spain and the U.S.
