Callee Hanamann strives to make her clients’ dreams come true — which explains her specialty in Walt Disney Travel and Universal Studios vacations. After completing the College of Disney Knowledge program, she became a Universal Orlando Resort specialist, and completed “Universal and U,” Universal Orlando’s sales training program. It’s all paid off. Since joining Harmon Travel three years ago, the 25-year-old travel agent has doubled her company’s total sales with both Walt Disney Travel and Universal Studios.

“Callee exudes excitement and passion and is a breath of fresh air in our travel agency,” they say. “Her passion for Disney shows not only in her demeanor but in our bottom line.” But Disney isn’t the only area Callee thrives in. As a Millennial herself, she understands the ins and outs of the minds of her generation — and oftentimes, the heart of this lies in social media.

“Social media attracts the Millennial clients,” she notes. “Millennials love visuals, and social media allows me to share my personal travel experiences and expertise in just a click of a button.” She gives an example: “I recently got back from England and Scotland with Contiki Holidays. Existing and new potential clients were following me via social media as I traveled, and requests have definitely spiked since my return.” 

Much of her success with Millennials is also driven by her leveraging value over price: how to find the destination hot spots, rooftop bars, VIP access and top local things to do.

“I’m able to direct Millennials by pushing the ‘must-have’ experiences instead of only the destination’s history,” she says.
