Selena Bohinski, 29
First Class Travel
Since joining First Class Travel in 2015, Selena Bohinski has significantly contributed to the agency’s “Million Dollar Producer Award” for 2016, which was awarded by Uniglobe.
She’s also now a Hawaii destination specialist, an AMResorts Master Agent, and a certified Sandals Resorts International specialist. She says, though, that by far the most satisfying reward is the positive feedback the agency receives on its website and its ‘The Knot’ page.
“Since joining, I have made it a priority to grow our destination wedding and honeymoon business. And because of the trust I have established with our clients, we are proud to have been awarded The Knot’s ‘Best of Weddings 2017.’ Many times these clients turn into repeat customers and their trust in me is the most rewarding aspect of my career,” says Bohinski.
Prior to becoming a travel agent, Bohinski held sales and catering managerial roles at various hotels, including the Westin and The Rittenhouse in Philadelphia.
The young travel advisor is also a vice president at First Class Travel, a family-owned and operated agency that has been on the scene for roughly 30 years.
“Selena’s enthusiasm, knowledge base, and client-first and think-out-of-the-box mentality captures business in unlikely places, which has catapulted sales,” says Kathy Brancifort, the agency’s president and owner, who says that Bohinski definitely showed her stregnths during a a crticial time for the agency.
“Selena’s leadership was exemplified when I was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to work for six months during treatment,” says Brancifort. “She not only sustained the agency but grew it, all while managing our part-time employees and interns.”
