The Travel Corporation (TTC) has announced plans to open a new sales office in São Paulo, Brazil in mid-2012.
The office will initially represent Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and the Red Carnation Hotel Collection.
Brett Tollman, TTC’s CEO, said, “The decision to open a sales office in Brazil is recognition of Brazil’s growing economic might and their growing appetite for outbound international travel. We feel we have outstanding products that will satisfy the expectations of both new and sophisticated travelers in this market.”
“The new sales office will support the Brazilian travel agency community,” added Richard Launder, president of TTC’s U.S. office, who will be heading up this office opening. “We already have a wonderful partner working with Contiki—the Student Travel Bureau (STB), and we look forward to working with all members of the Brazilian Association of Travel Agents.”
TTC has begun its search for a Brazilian Commercial Director to head the office.
