Air India Offers Delhi Stopover Packages 

India’s national carrier, Air India, has introduced a new Stopover Package program for their passengers from New York, Newark and Chicago who are traveling via Delhi to the more than 50 other cities across India. The packages are also available to passengers returning to the U.S. from any of those cities via Delhi. The basic one-nighter includes accommodations in or around the Delhi Airport area; breakfast and hotel taxes; and airport-hotel transfer.

For travelers wishing to spend another day or more in Delhi, there are Extended Stay rates, as well as optional full- or half-day city sightseeing tours, rental cars, and a day trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. The Stopover program also offers Day Rooms for passengers with several hours between flights who would like to leave the terminal.

ID Travel Group Launches Asia Itineraries

The new ID Ultimate Itineraries division of the ID Travel Group will launch a product line that includes exclusive itineraries to Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore and China. W Hotels Plans 11 New Hotels in Asia by 2018

Plans announced recently by W Hotels Worldwide call for the luxury brand to more than double its Asian presence by opening 10 new hotels there by the end of 2018.  This is in addition to the new W Guangzhou Hotel & Residences, which had its soft opening on March 31 and is expected to be fully operational before the start of summer. 

Minor Acquires Two Vietnam Hotels

With Its Acquisition of Life Resorts, Minor Hotel Group is boosting its presence in Vietnam. That portfolio includes the 96-room Life Heritage Resort Hoi An, will become a luxury Anantara hotel and renamed the Anantara Hoi An Resort, and the 63-key Life Wellness Resort Quy Nhon, which will be flagged Avani, Mhg’s new contemporary upscale brand.
