ASTA Offers Microsoft Office Webcasts

ASTA's latest enhancement to its ongoing educational programming-a series of webcasts hosted by Microsoft -are designed to strengthen and enhance user knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office System tools.
“These webcasts are designed to give agents hands-on business productivity training, taught by Microsoft experts,” said ASTA CEO Tony Gonchar. “We also are working with Microsoft to develop additional content for the Travel Retailing & Destination Expo in Los Angeles this September, as well as other initiatives that will be announced shortly.”
“Microsoft’s goal is to help users maximize the features that exist within the Office System Tools, and this webcast series provides an ideal opportunity to help ASTA agents do just that,” said Darcy Luer, senior marketing manager, Microsoft. “By sharing best practices, we are aiming to equip agents with knowledge that will help them streamline their day-to-day business.”
Each webcast will provide practical tips participants can put to work immediately. Among the webcasts Microsoft is offering are:
    •    May 16, 2012, 9 a.m. PT: PowerPoint 2010 Distribute and Integrate Presentations
    •    May 16, 2012, 11 a.m. PT: Word 2010 Control Content and Layout for Your Documents
    •    June 13, 2012, 11 a.m. PT: Outlook 2010: Customize the Appearance of Your Email Messages, and Share Outlook Content with Others

All webcasts are presented by Jed Warren, training specialist / Office Systems Expert, Microsoft Corp. Warren has more than 14 years of experience in IT. Agents are urged to register early, as space is limited.
