Classic Vacations Launches Mobile Itinerary

smartphoneTravel agents can now give clients on-the-go access to travel documents and showcase their own brand, according to Classic Vacations, who announced the release of Mobile Itineraries now available for travel advisors and their clients. The Mobile Itinerary is accessible from any mobile phone or tablet with internet access, and requires no application download to use.

The online itineraries are fully customizable for the travel advisor to adjust the look and feel to reflect their own branding. The agent can add their own logo, contact information and color scheme, Classic reports.

Designed to deliver fast and accurate travel documents for the in-destination traveler, the Mobile Itinerary provides agents with the power to give their clients all their itinerary information in one place.

Said David Hu, president of Classic Vacations. “This complimentary feature is a just our way of helping our advisors provide exceptional services to their clients.”

The Mobile Itinerary offers access to:

  • Hotel contact info with address and map
  • Check-in and check-out dates with room descriptions
  • Flight seat assignments, airline flight numbers with departure and arrival times
  • Area attraction descriptions with local dining options
  • Transportation and tour documents
  • Travel Protection Plan and description

Agents can easily take advantage of the Mobile Itinerary feature, Classic says. Each printed itinerary in the document wallet that the agent receive will now contain a Mobile Itinerary URL. Travel agents only need to share the URL with their client prior to travel. When the client visits the Mobile Itinerary URL, they will first be required to verify their itinerary number and last name. Once they do so, they will be provided with all their important documents straight from their phone or tablet. The Mobile Itinerary is a smart and stress-free option for use in-travel, prior to travel, or even at the airport, Classic notes.

The new mobile itinerary feature is the latest in a series of technology enhancements at the company. In November, Classic Vacations launched a redesigned website dedicated exclusively to travel agents. With the new website, consumers are no longer able to book directly with Classic Vacations, but are instead directed to a list of available travel advisors near them.
