Funjet Vacations begins their 2010 Midwest Tradeshow circuit this week with the theme “Showcase Your Value.” The theme carries throughout the shows, held in Minneapolis on August 18, Chicago on August 19, St. Louis on August 23, and Milwaukee on August 24.
“Our theme this year aligns with the message that Funjet has been continuously promoting to consumers – travel agents are the absolute best way to plan and book a vacation,” said Chad Bolliger, director for Funjet Vacations, “Materials available in conjunction with the shows will include marketing and training tools to help travel agents define their value statement, promote and communicate their value, and then turn that value into profit.”
Travel agents attending the shows have the option to participate in two of four available training sessions held at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.: Funjet Vacations 101; 10 Strategies to Sell More with VAX VacationAccess; Showcase Your Value I – Defining, Selling and Monetizing Your Value; and Showcase Your Value II – Marketing and Sharing Your Value.
The tradeshow floor will open following a presentation by Funjet Vacations’ President Mike Going and will include more than 100 hotels and resorts, tourism boards and ground operators.
