GOGO Vacations has launched a new booking engine aimed at simplifying and streamlining the reservation process. Additionally, for the foreseeable future, the first three tiers of GOGO Vacation’s Travel Agents First (TAF) program – Booking Agent, Partner Agent and the new Partner Elite Agent level – will receive an additional 1 percent bonus commission for all online bookings.

The highest level of TAF, Premier Agents, will continue to earn the brands’ highest commission level regardless which avenue they prefer to use for reservations.

The new booking engine offers optimized functionality for tablets, desktops and extended desktop views. Now flight departure time does not need to be specified in the search; advance search includes airline alliance; car or transfers, as well as baggage info and room category, are displayed in the booking path and more. Travel agents can modify their search without starting over, have the ability to toggle on/off commission and can filter by many different options, GOGO said. Alternate flights at the same price are in simple view, car categories are grouped together and insurance can be booked seamlessly within the reservation.

The booking engine, which has been in beta testing for several months, went live on February 1, 2016. In tandem with the official launch GOGO is running a 60-day prize giveaway to celebrate the new booking engine. Each day a prize – ranging from free trips to iPads, gift cards and more – will be awarded. The daily contest is tied to a booking incentive, which will be sent to agents each day via email. A qualified booking enters agents in the contest daily; there is no limit to the number of prizes an agent can win, they can enter each and every day.
