NTA was one of the first associations to back the dot-travel initiative as a member of the Travel Partnership Corp., which works with Tralliance, the registry for dot-travel, on policy for the new domain name. NTA has been confirming its members for addresses since July 2005. According to Ron Andruff, president and CEO of Tralliance, the registry has reserved more than 16,000 domain names.
