Onsite: ClientBase Online Launched by TRAMS

April 23, 2008 By: George Dooley

LAS VEGAS—Sabre Travel Network and TRAMS, Inc. introduced ClientBase Online at the opening of the TRAMS/Sabre Technology & Marketing University (TMU) in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The new capability will allow travel agents to access all of their client relationship management (CRM) tools, including booking and shopping, in one integrated online location. The new capability will be integrated into the MySabre agent desktop and VacationStudio, an online leisure portal.

ClientBase Online is now available to U.S. agents and will be rolled out to the rest of North America this year. It builds on and complements ClientBase, the travel industry’s first CRM tool targeted at travel consultants. Agents will no longer have to be tied to their office to tap into the power of ClientBase. ClientBase Online will be available via any Internet-connected computer. It will host the agent or agency’s database at no additional charge over the monthly licensing fee subscribers pay.

The 800 plus travel agents attending TMU will be briefed on ClientBase Online. TRAMS and Sabre see ClientBase Online as especially valuable to agents who travel extensively. ClientBase Online will be available to current users of TRAMS Back Office and/or ClientBase Windows later this year. More than 45,000 agents in over 11,000 locations currently use TRAMS services.
