Rosen to Leave TRAMS/Sabre Post

Lee Rosen, founder and president of TRAMS, Inc., Los Angeles, is leaving TRAMS and Sabre effective February 10. Rosen launched TRAMS in 1988 and guided the company to a leadership position with its ClientBase and Back Office systems. TRAMS was acquired by Sabre in 2006. Rosen also served as general manager of Sabre Leisure.

TRAMS ClientBase and Back Office are today industry standards with 44,000 agent users among 11,000 subscribers. Rosen also launched Client Base Marketing Services (CBMS) that is a marketing system for agencies, agents and consortia. TRAMS annual sales are estimated at $10 million annually.

“It has been a great 20 year run for me and I appreciate all the great people I have gotten the opportunity to work with,” Rosen said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished and look forward to seeing TRAMS continue down its path with ongoing success.  I doubt clients will see any changes at all.” TRAMS management team remains in place and a general manger will be named.

Rosen intends to explore new opportunities in marketing and technology, including the travel industry.  “After 20 years I am ready for a change.  I have a number of projects that I am really excited about and can’t wait to have more time to spend on them.” Rosen can be contacted at [email protected].
