Sabre and ZoomAndGo Will Give Agents New Hotel Shopping and Booking Solution

codeSabre and ZoomAndGo have signed an agreement to offer travel agents a map-based hotel shopping and booking solution that will integrate fragmented hotel content into an easy to use interface and make comparison shopping easier.

As an integrated solution within the Sabre system, ZoomAndGo will allow agents to shop all rates for a single property from Sabre and other content sources. In addition, agents will be able to filter for agency and corporate customer preferred hotels, maximizing profitability and program compliance. Sabre will test the solution with select travel agencies before introducing it to customers globally.

"Our agreement with ZoomAndGo is a great example of how we are partnering with third party innovators to deliver unique value to travel suppliers and buyers," said Shelly Terry, vice president of supplier merchandising, Sabre Travel Network.

He said travel buyers have more choice and transparency so they can easily find the best hotel to meet both the traveler's preference and the corporation's needs. At the same time, hoteliers have more ways to merchandise their products in Sabre that promote their brand, property attributes and offerings to travel buyers.

With ZoomAndGo's map-based search capabilities, travel agents will be able to search any destination in the world by street address, neighborhood, airport code and local attractions. In addition, they can instantly sort search results by chain, price, amenity or other criteria to find the perfect hotel quickly.

"Partnering with Sabre gives us an opportunity to expand our reach further into the travel marketplace," said Jonathan Haldane, CEO, ZoomAndGo. "The integration of our technology into Sabre means increased profitability and productivity for agencies."

The solution will integrate with and supplement existing Sabre Red Workspace hotel shopping and booking processes, maintaining agent efficiency and productivity and allowing for post-booking processing and data capture.

"We continually work with technology partners like ZoomAndGo to extend the Sabre  www.sabre.com) marketplace. With new opportunities such as these, travel suppliers have even more access to the 400,000 travel buyers around the world who influence more than $100 billion in travel spend annually," said Terry.
