Truvle Names Executive to Head Expansion

Atlanta-based travel technology company truvle, Ltd. has named industry veteran Darren Dunn as vice president of business development. He will be responsible for the company’s expansion worldwide.

Dunn served as director of sales at the Palo Alto, California-based WorldMate, Inc., and prior to that with Orbitz Worldwide, Inc., overseeing domestic and international destination and hospitality marketing. At Orbitz, Dunn managed sales teams and ran marketing campaigns, involving partnerships with tour operators, hotels and airlines. Under his leadership, international marketing revenue surpassed its goal, exceeding 140 percent growth in one year.

truvle counts among its clients AAA and airline ticket consolidator SkyBird Travel. The company develops and markets customized e-mail itineraries and confirmations for travel professionals, including agents, hoteliers, tour operators and airlines. Truvle software replaces the traditional, unbranded e-doc that travel management companies receive for their clients.
