United And Continental Sign Pact With Travelocity

United Continental Holdings (NYSE: UAL)  reports that its wholly owned subsidiaries United Airlines and Continental Airlines signed a new multi-year agreement with Travelocity. The deal enables customers to continue to purchase tickets through Travelocity’s online booking sites, including Travelocity.com, Travelocity Business, Travelocity Partner Network and Travelocity.ca.
 
“We are committed to being accessible to travelers who choose to do business through high-quality and efficient sales outlets,” said Mark Bergsrud, United’s senior vice president of marketing. “This agreement with Travelocity ensures that our mutual customers will continue to have access to our fares and schedules.”
