Centara Rebrands Hotels in Thailand

As the year changed over the weekend, so did names of top hotels in Thailand.

According to Breaking Travel News, Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok will become Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin will become Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin, and Novotel Hat Yai Centara will become Centara Hotel Hat Yai.

The name change comes as the partnership between Accor and Centara Hotels & Resorts ends, after  25-year stretch.

Renovations have taken place at the hotels in preparation of the name change.
