Hilton is scheduled to open two new properties in Bangkok in 2012. The first will be a new build Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel and the other a conversion project to be rebranded as a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
The two hotels will sit on Sukhumvit Road, which is a short distance from the Phrom Phong sky train station. The Hilton Sukhumvi Bangkok will feature 287 guest rooms, including 35 suites. There will also be an all-day dining restaurant, a bar and lobby lounge. Guests have access to an outdoor swimming pool, health club and health spa.
The DoubleTree by Hilton, Sukhumvi Bangkok will reopen in 2012 following a massive renovation of the guest rooms, dining areas, conference facilities and public spaces. The hotel will feature 182 guest rooms including 12 suites. An all-day dining restaurant and lounge, as well as swimming pool and fitness center will be available.
