Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, which is now under the Starwood Hotels & Resorts umbrella, has signed an agreement to manage Le Meridien Pattaya Resort, Thailand. Situated along Jomtien Beach in Pattaya, the resort is scheduled to open in January 2009 with 250 rooms, 11,000 square feet of meeting space, three dining outlets, an outdoor swimming pool and a spa. Le Meridien Pattaya Resort is Starwood's second property in Pattaya and its 17th in Thailand.
