New Bangkok/Phuket Itinerary from Ritz Tours

June 11, 2008 By: Mark Rogers

Ritz Tours is offering a new eight-day Bangkok & Phuket itinerary priced from $1,661 per person, which includes airfare, hotels and sightseeing.

Travelers begin their escorted trip in Bangkok, where they’ll have two half-day city tours that bring them to popular sites including the Grand Palace, Dam Nern Saduak Floating Market and the spiritual Emerald Buddha Temple.

From Bangkok, tour participants head to Phuket, an island in the Andamam Sea, with watersports options and sightseeing that includes the Rawai Sea Gypsy Village (one of the homes to Sea Gypsies, considered the indigenous people of Phuket), Old Phuket Town and scenic Prompthep Cape. Two free days of leisure allow travelers to experience the additional attractions of Phuket. Optional tours to Phi Phi Island and Phang Nga are available.

The Bangkok & Phuket package features roundtrip airfare on Cathay Pacific Airways from Los Angeles or San Francisco, intra-Asia transportation, accommodations (Sofitel Centara Grand in Bangkok and the Holiday Inn in Phuket), sightseeing in air-conditioned motor coaches, meals and entertainment and tour guides.

A fuel surcharge of $284 is already included in the package price. Daily departure dates are available now through October 31. Single supplements cost an additional $350 per person. Hotel upgrades are available with applicable surcharges. Add-on airfares are available for departures from various cities in the U.S. and Canada.
