Thailand Heads into a Positive 2012

It looks like 2012 is going to be a better year for Thailand. News Republic is reporting that the U.S. canceled its travel alert for Thailand, saying that conditions have improved since the country was hit with the worst flooding in 50 years.

"The State Department, which had warned U.S. citizens on November 16 about the difficulties of travel to the popular tourist destination, said in a statement that the situation in Thailand has 'greatly improved,'" News Republic reports.
