Thailand Isn't Affected by Earthquake

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced Thursday to the media, tour operators, travel agents and all the traveling public that the Kingdom of Thailand has not been affected by the earthquake off the island of Java, Indonesia, which occurred July 17. According to a TAT news release, there has also been no indication of a tsunami within the country. All of Thailand's beach destinations on both the Andaman coast and the Gulf of Thailand are conducting business as usual, according to the release.
