Bimini Bay Resort in the Bahamas to Undergo Enhancements

Bimini Bay Resort & Marina in The Bahamas will be undergoing a seasonal closure effective September 30 for a period of four to six weeks with an opening on or before November 15.

During this time the project will be performing a comprehensive exercise to upgrade and improve various resort amenities including the enhancement of several of food and beverage outlets and common areas. The cost of these resort improvements will amount to several million dollars. This is in addition to the $24 million that is being spent on the new boutique casino that will open in the beginning of 2013.

Additionally, the resort will be implementing a new amenity program with villa and suite accommodation offerings. The property, which will continue to be accessible for homeowners, will be undergoing maintenance to stay consistent with improving the overall guest experience, enhanced service standards and product offerings to ensure the utmost in quality for our valued guests and homeowners.

Resort enhancements and improvements include refurbishments to existing restaurants, Sabor, Aqua Grill and Healing Hole; the opening of new food and beverage outlets at Marina Village; a new cigar bar lounge, “Casa Miranda;" a new wine and cheese bar and more.
