Abercrombie & Kent Adds Six Pre-Planned Signature Series ItinerariesSeptember 30, 2015 By: Newswire
Abercrombie & Kent has released details on the company's pre-planned Signature Series Journeys for 2016, including six new itineraries in Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand.
“In some cases, we’ve taken our most popular Luxury Small Group Journeys and made it possible to ‘Take it Private,’ for 2-4 guests,” said Abercrombie & Kent USA President Phil Otterson. “Others are unique itineraries, either focused around less familiar destinations such as Rwanda or Ethiopia, or designed to provide more in-depth exploration of a destination, such as Sri Lanka.”
Signature Series Journeys are private and include local guides at each stop on the itinerary. Each guide is a native of the country.
The six new itineraries are:
Signature Sri Lanka - A comprehensive overview of Ceylon, from its many UNESCO Heritage Sites and beautiful beaches, to plentiful wildlife and picturesque tea country. Learn about Tamil culture during a stop at Trincomalee. Guests stay in some of the best boutique properties on the island, including Ulagalla and Condé NastTraveler Gold List Amangalla. 15 days from $6,995
Signature Zimbabwe – Travelers set out on game drives and walking safaris in search of the “Big Five” in three national parks and explore Victoria Falls. 10 days from $6,795
Signature Ethiopia – This itinerary visits the country's ancient, rock-hewn churches and a coffee ceremony, observing the roasting and brewing process. Guests also embark on a cruise of Lake Tant to visit the island monasteries. 11 days from $7,495
