Banyan Tours' New Ten-Day Tour Includes Bhutan

The Kingdom of Bhutan has been popping up on radars all across the industry as of late. Banyan Tours has recently announced a 10-day/nine-night adventure, with four nights in Sikkim, four nights in Bhutan and an overnight in Delhi.

On the tour, guests will experience the remote Indian Himalayas visiting villages and the Rinchenpong Monastery. Trekkers will stay in traditional Himalayan houses that have been outfitted with Western standards.

In Bhutan, COMO's Uma Paro will serve as a base camp. Tour highlights include a drive along the Chele La Pass; a hike to Kila Goemba, an ancient nunnery; and a visit to the Taktsang Monastery.

Rates start at $5,700 per person and fees include accommodations, most meals, transportation, guide, entrance fees, economy air from India to/from Bhutan, visa and royalty fees for Bhutan and all taxes.
