Jim Kelly has been named to the newly created position of Vice President of National Accounts for CIE Tours International, according to an announcement by Brian W. Stack, President and CEO of CIE Tours International, North America. Prior to the appointment, Kelly served as Vice President of Sales, a position he has held since 1996.
“As industry distribution channels continue to evolve, CIE recognized the need for a dedicated and experienced executive to be the voice of the CIE product on a daily basis,” said Stack. “Jim Kelly’s broad experience and personal relationships with key decision makers throughout the industry made him the natural choice to fill this position.”
In his new role, Kelly will be responsible for planning and implementing strategic growth initiatives in sales and marketing and collaborating with senior management to identify new opportunities with the company’s host agency groups and online accounts.
Kelly will also develop and execute tactical promotional events to create new sources of revenue and will work closely with internal and external partners to facilitate the development of stronger, more sustainable and profitable relationships. Kelly started with CIE in 1994.
