GOGO Vacations Names Randy Alleyne as VP Sales

handshakeGOGO Vacations has named Randy Alleyne as vice president sales. Alleyne -  a new name within the travel industry - has a  background in the retail world beyond the hospitality arena, GOGO said.

“Randy is an accomplished leader with an incredible depth of experience and proven track record in sales growth initiatives and operational optimization of retail businesses,” said GOGO Vacations President Marg Mulholland.

“Having a fresh perspective on our business and industry brings a substantial opportunity to us. Randy’s well-rounded sales pedigree is sure to translate into great things for our brand and the travel agents who we work so closely with," Mulholland  said.

Alleyne brings tremendous knowledge and hands-on knowhow in retail merchandising, marketing, online services, multi-unit operations and customer experience platforms to the table, GOGO said.  His strategic brand-building campaigns, in tandem with his best practice applications, have proven marked, measurable results for the companies that he has worked with, GOGO said.

Most recently Alleyne was an executive vice president, sales and strategy, with RSG Alliance, where he also sat on its board.  Prior to that Alleyne held VP spots with well-known brands such as Cydcor, Banfield/PetSmart and Circuit City.  He began his sales tenure with Walmart, where he was a regional sales manager.

GOGO Vacations has more than forty offices in 26 states nationwide and works exclusively with travel agents.  GOGO was acquired by Australian-based Flight Centre Limited in 2008,
