Scott Wiseman will take over as president of Travel Impressions, according to an announcement made on Thursday by Peter Bowler, president of distribution for the Apple Leisure Group.
Wiseman’s leadership experience as president of various luxury tour companies, including Cox & Kings, The Americas and Abercrombie & Kent USA, will enhance Travel Impressions’ premium service capabilities for travel agents, according to a written release issued by Travel Impressions.
He will relocate from Los Angeles to Travel Impressions’ Farmingdale headquarters in Long Island, New York. Wiseman replaces Jeff Clarke, who tendered his resignation after guiding the company for the last year-and-a-half.
“I am confident Wiseman will be a strong leader for Travel Impressions,” said Bowler, who will serve as interim president of Travel Impressions until Wiseman assumes the role on August 15, 2016. “Wiseman’s experience in key leadership roles at high-end luxury tour businesses will complement Travel Impressions’ breadth of product and supplier relationships, catapulting the brand to new heights. The Travel Impressions team wishes Jeff Clarke well in his next endeavor.”
