Super Value Tours Resigns From USTOA

Sparked by the downturn of travel to Japan earlier this year, Super Value Tours Inc., based in South El Monte, Calif.,  has resigned its membership in USTOA and as such no longer participates in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, USTOA reports. The move is effective immediately.

Terry Dale, president of USTOA, advised travelers and travel agents that deposits or payments made prior to September 30, 2011 for purchases of Super Value Tours Inc. products are fully protected under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client payments thereafter will not be covered by the USTOA program.

“USTOA is a wonderful organization and we have enjoyed our tenure as contributing members. Regrettably, recent events impacting the Japanese tourism industry require us to refocus our energy on other projects for now,” noted Roy Liao, director of Super Value Tours.

Dale added, “Super Value Tours has been a valued and respected member of our association, and we look forward to welcoming the company back to USTOA in the future.”

Super Value Tours Inc. is located at 1170 Durfee Ave. Suite E, S. El Monte, CA 91733.
