A&K Expands Private Jet Offerings

U.S. tour operator Abercrombie & Kent is expanding its private jet offerings for 2007 and has created a specialized "Private Jet Division" catering exclusively to that mode of travel. The company said it is planning four private jet excursions next year, rather than the single tour organized in previous years. Excursions in 2007 will kick off with the Feb. 22 to March 15 "Soul of India Tour"; and follow with "Nine Wonders of the World," March 11 to April 2; "Africa and the Indian Ocean," Aug. 4 to Aug. 24; and "Ancient Trades and Explorers," Sept. 23 to Oct. 14. Costs for the "Soul of India Tour" range from $68,950 to $82,750 per person. The "Soul of India Tour" will fly on an Airbus 319CJ, and cater to just 28 clients, the company said.
