Arianna Huffington to Headline Lesbian Cruise

Olivia Travel, a travel company specifically for lesbians, has announced that political pundit Arianna Huffington, the founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, will join its lineup on board its March Caribbean cruise aboard Holland America's 1,848-passenger Westerdam. Olivia chartered the ship for a week-long sailing, which will begin in Fort Lauderdale, FL, on March 1 and include stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas; the Turks & Caicos; and Half Moon Cay (Holland America's private island).

Onboard, Huffington will speak about post-election challenges and opportunities in light of Barack Obama's election. "We are excited to hear what Arianna thinks the future might hold for women and lesbians now that Barack Obama is president," said Judy Dlugacz, Olivia's founder and president. "It’s an amazing opportunity for our guests to hear—in person—from such a well-known, articulate political analyst. Plus, I think she’s the only political pundit to have been on 'The L Word'!"

Huffington will be joined by others, including comedians Kate Clinton, René Hicks, and Vickie Shaw and musician Doria Roberts.
