Country Walkers Unveils 13 New Itineraries

Country Walkers has announced several new initiatives going into 2008. The company has launched a series of three five-day itineraries for time-pressed travelers. Country Walkers is also stepping up its Women's Adventure program with new women-only itineraries in Arizona and Costa Rica.

 

The company is offering 13 new itineraries to destinations familiar to Country Walkers' aficionados, including France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Nepal and the Pacific Northwest in the U.S.; and to brand new destinations, China, Argentina and Bulgaria.

 

China - Cultural Treasures & Country Routes: 10 nights touring hutong neighborhoods of Beijing, two days on the Great Wall, a visit to the X'ian Terra Cotta warriors archaeological site; and exploring the rural region of Yangshuo, with terraced rice paddies and karst formations along the Li River.

 

Argentina - Country Routes & City Culture: Seven nights in Buenos Aires and the Mendoza wine district.

 

Bulgaria - Cultural Crossroads: Seven-night cultural immersion in Bulgaria exploring small towns, preserved monasteries, and routes through meadows, vineyards, forests and mineral springs.
