GOGO Worldwide Vacations announced that it will expand internationally with the launch of its brand in Canada early in 2009. The expansion follows the launch of its Worldwide Collection, a tour, hotel and resort range that is now available to its travel agency partners.
To establish GOGO’s Canadian presence, parent company Flight Centre Limited’s Infinity Holidays wholesale businesses in Toronto and Vancouver will be rebranded GOGO. Together, the two businesses will employ about 400 people.
Stavros Kotsireas, currently Infinity’s leader in Canada, will continue to run the Canadian wholesale business following the rebranding. GOGO currently services almost 20,000 travel agents from its U.S. locations.
