Maui Ocean Center Launches New Aquarium and Whale Watch Experience

For the first time in nearly 20 years of educating travelers on the wonders of Hawaii's whales, the Maui Ocean Center will offer its own whale watch tour and aquarium experience in partnership with Aloha Blue Charters.

The combo package, which is available now, includes an Aquarium Day Journey Pass and afternoon whale watch tour from 1 - 3 p.m. aboard Aloha Blue Charter’s 40 foot catamaran, Hokua.

The tour will take clients through the popular Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, one of the world’s most important humpback habitats for nearly 10,000 humpback whales that migrate to Hawaii each year.

The Aquarium and Whale Watch Experience includes admission to the Maui Ocean Center where guests will encounter sharks, rays, turtles, and tropical fish prior to their whale watch tour.

The Hokua is docked in Maalaea Harbor and is within walking distance to the aquarium. The Aquarium and Whale Watch Experience can be booked online at www.mauicceancenter.com/whales.
