Pacific Delight Tours Offers Visa-Free Thailand, Beijing Program

Pacific Delight Tours is debuting a winter program in conjunction with Air China for U.S. travelers looking to escape to a warmer climate.

In addition to experiencing Bangkok’s Emerald Buddha, Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew temple, as well as Thailand’s culturally significant northern city of Chang Mai, passengers can incorporate an optional stopover in Beijing for up to three days (maximum 72 hours) into the fully customizable FIT program, taking advantage of China’s new visa-free policy.

Departures will be available from popular East and West Coast departure gateways, including Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK), with add-on fares available for travelers originating from other points.

Travelers can opt for up to 72 hours in Beijing due to China’s recently implemented visa-free policy, where they may enjoy sightseeing excursions to the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Imperial Palace and Summer Palace. Experiential highlights may include a traditional drum performance, a tour through the narrow alleyways of Beijing’s historic Hutong district and a visit with a local Chinese family in a traditional courtyard-style home.

Air-inclusive rates start at $1,499 per person, based on double occupancy, and may vary based on tour components selected, dates of travel, flight routes and hotel preferences. Optional Beijing stopover will incur an additional land cost. A single supplement is available from $299. Packages include all taxes, fees and the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.

Monthly departures will be available February 12 – April 9, 2017.
