Pleasant Holidays Adds Seven Caribbean Destinations to ’09 Program

Tour operator Pleasant Holidays expanded its 2009 Caribbean program by adding seven destinations and 42 new hotels and resorts. The new destinations are Antigua, Anguilla, Barbados, Bermuda, St. Martin/Saint Maarten, St. Vincent and The Grenadines. The company also added another 23 new hotels in its existing destinations of Aruba, Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia and Turks & Caicos. Pleasant Holidays now offers 18 destinations in the Caribbean.

"We have expanded our Caribbean destinations by 50 percent as a result of our success in the first seven months," said President and CEO Jack E. Richards in a written release. "Travelers planning winter 2009 vacations or spring weddings and honeymoons now have a wide selection of Caribbean destinations, all-inclusive resorts, hotels and airline partners with Pleasant Holidays."

The expanded 2009 Caribbean program features 122 hotels and resorts, including Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Riu Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Resorts, Atlantis Paradise Island, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Resorts, Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Dreams Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Sunset Resorts Jamaica and many others. Fifty-seven hotels were added back in April.
