Mauricio Lomelin, a member of Microsoft’s Bing Program Management team, has joined Travel Impressions, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Express as Vice President, eCommerce Product.
He will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of all online products, including tracking key business analytics, prioritizing features, optimizing resources, improving speed of innovation, and ensuring the quality of products and services. His focus will be on aligning technical development with business priorities and corporate strategy.
“We will look to Mauricio to lead our website lifecycle, from concept to development to deployment,” said Steve Gorga, president and CEO. “His extensive background in online travel and his digital expertise will be a definite asset to Travel Impressions and our customers.”
Lomelin previously held key roles with Bing Travel, MSN Travel and Bing, where he received multiple Microsoft Gold Star awards. He holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
