Travelers Explore Costa Rica on Natural Wonders Tour With Globus

With the Globus family of brands, travelers can now explore Costa Rica on the Natural Wonders of Costa Rica tour in 2018.

This nine-day tour takes travelers from San José to the Caribbean and the Pacific, to Torutguero National Park to Guanacaste and Manuel Antonio National Park, and back to San José again.

In Tortuguero National Park, travelers will take a boat ride along the park’s remote sections to see Costa Rica’s wildlife in its natural habitat, from freshwater turtles, egrets and toucans to monkeys.

When visiting the Arenal Volcano, which is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the world, travelers can take a dip in the ecothermal hot springs while also witnessing red lava streaming down the volcano’s sides as it grumbles. Travelers may even sleep in the shadow of the volcano at night.

Next is Monteverde, where travelers will visit the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. A large array of plant species lives here, along with jaguars, quetzal, monkeys, ocelots and several species of birds.

Throughout the journey through Costa Rica, travelers will also delve into the culture and industries of the country, especially while visiting local farms.

Costa Rica is known to be one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, Globus said, also home to 112 different volcanic formations. Those booking a Globus South America vacation early can also save 10 percent on select vacations and receive up to $1,000 per couple in air credit.

The Globus family of brands’ portfolio offers itineraries ranging from seven to 14 days, and offers travelers the ability to customize their vacation.
