New York Travel Agency Helps Benefit Kenya Education Fund

Tina Gassert and Sophie Arista from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts; Matilde Broder, Power Travel; and Wendy Seelig, a Power Travel client, were in attendance at the fund-raising travel trade show.

Power Travel International, a Long Island, New York-based Virtuoso member agency, hosted its fourth annual trade show at the Muttontown Country Club  on April 11 to benefit the Kenya Education Fund

The annual event, known as the Power Travel Expo, introduced participating travel vendors to hundreds of affluent Long Islanders who are looking for unique travel experiences to luxurious travel destinations. Since the induction of the event in 2007, numerous hotels, airlines and all-inclusive resorts have donated thousands of dollars in prizes to the expo's silent auction. And, for the past four years, the Power Travel Expo has raised more than $120,000 to help educate children in Kenya.

To learn more about helping educate needy students in Kenya, Power Travel International encourages agents to visit www.kenyaeducationfund.org.

Suppliers interested in participating in next year's Power Travel Expo are urged to contact Power Travel International President Matilde Broder for rates and dates at 800-831-8896.
