Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts' property in the Maldives

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is set to open an array of new properties by the end of 2010, but it was its Vancouver property that the company was boasting about at Luxury Travel Expo.

“This is our time to get the word out to the North American market,” said Andrew Rein, sales manager for the company. “Our Vancouver property is our way to open up that market and this is the perfect place to tell everyone about it.” The property is slated to open at the end of January.
