This year, the third annual New York Travel Festival will present a weekend of events for travelers and industry professionals, set to take place on April 18 and 19.
The festival will include panel discussions, speakers, tastings, and workshops all centered on the travel industry.
On April 18, at W83, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, day programs will focus on opportunities for travel professionals to enhance their knowledge of travel trends and niche groups. Offerings will include the Travel Unity Summit: how to bring under-represented groups further into tourism, both as industry and consumers; and Experts’ Corner: one-on-one pre-scheduled meetings with experts from the world of travel.
Programs on April 19 will be held at Hostelling International - New York, and will connect lifelong travelers with people in career transition to learn more about how to keep travel an integral part life. Events will include workshops, guest speakers, and one-on-one meetings with travel experts from a variety of companies.
Festival hours for both days are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
