Tristar Worldwide Chauffeur Services, which recently expanded to the U.S., recently announced it has executed an agreement with Ground Travel Technology Team, Inc. (GT3) to enable European travelers to the U.S. to book ground transportation online from Europe with US limousines in dozens of American cities. A significant service enhancement for travel agents and corporate travelers, the agreement makes Tristar the first European chauffeur drive company to offer real-time integration to all of GT3's users on Sabre, Apollo, Worldspan, Orbitz for Business, Travelport, Cliqbook and Symphonie. It also eliminates the cost of the international phone calls required to make reservations in Europe; and allows bookings to be made in U.S. dollars rather than in a foreign currency.
