Although Michigan isn't home to any of the top 10 dog friendly cities, canines can enjoy a pampering at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in the Northwoods of the state. Traveling without one's dog can become quite upsetting during some family vacations and Grand Traverse Resort & Spa is giving no excuses for families to cry over missing their companion anymore.
While some vacation spots don't allow our furry friends to enjoy vacation festivities with their families, the Northwoods of Michigan put no restraint on who is allowed to join in on the fun. While their families are out enjoying the scenic outdoors or rejuvenating with restorative spa treatments, dogs will be surrounded by luxury at The Dog House-The Ultimate Dog Retreat.
The Dog House - The Ultimate Dog Retreat is designed with a dog's psyche in mind, implementing a social environment so they can play together in three play/slumber rooms or in the grassy fenced yard. Each room contains toys, cozy beds, immediate access to an outdoor potty area and rubberized flooring that is easy on the paws. Filtered water is readily available in all rooms and in the yard, and a professional, trained staff is attentive to their every need - providing daily exercise, potty-breaks and more than enough TLC. So families can vacation easily knowing their loved ones are being taken care of on a level of luxury.
All dogs are subject to a social and health pre-screening process to ensure safety and security in this cage-free environment. Since the facility is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, owners have the freedom to visit their pet anytime during their stay and even take their pets along on a day outing if they want. Owners are required to provide their own dog food and any medications. No toys or beds from home are allowed. All dogs must be spayed or neutered, be at least six-months old, have all current vaccinations including six-month Bortadella and have a veterinary-approved flea preventative.
Never travel without your furry friends again, and let The Dog House take care your canine needs.
